Elastix in CentOS or RHEL 4

I don’t know if It’s a good idea because the Elastix distro is designed precisely to provide packet standardization. But at least It seems to be possible if you install the RPM packages found in the Elastix repository (http://repo.elastix.org/centos/4/updates/RPMS/repodata/) over a clean installed CentOS or RHLE 4 machine.

Please take care of shutdown the MySQL service before continue and be aware that ALL YOUR PREVIOUS MySQL DATA WILL BE LOST!

This procedure has not been tested!
