Only problem is it's about the same price (In my country at least) to buy / build an Alix 6b2 as it is to build a system with the likes of an Intel D945GCLF2, or the Foxconn 45CS (Fanless) with 2GB Ram & a 160GB+ HDD ...
With that in mind, whilst it's nice to build a system for a specific architecture, surely it'd be better to do it for something like the Beagleboard which actually has some decent power (ARM CPU)
